Sanders Hearon Endowed Scholarship

The Sanders Hearon Endowed Scholarship was established in September 2021 by the family of Sanders Hearon in his memory. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student enrolled in any degree program who is a resident of the following counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Carteret, Craven Currituck, Duplin, Dare Edgecombe, Gates, Green, Halifax, Hertford, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington, Wayne, or Wilson. Financial need will be considered.
