Anthony "Tony" Bowen Memorial Scholarship

The Anthony “Tony” Bowen Memorial Scholarship was established by Timothy Sawyer in memory of his friend, Tony Bowen. Tony was an instructor in Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) for many years and passed away suddenly after a battle with cancer. The scholarship will be awarded semi-annually to a deserving student enrolled in the BLET program at PCC. Preference will be given to students who reside in Beaufort, Bertie or Martin counties. Financial need is considered when selecting a recipient.
